Mark Eaton's Celebrity Golf Classic
FIRST ANNUAL MARK EATON GOLF TOURNAMENT
On September 15, 2009 our first annual golf tournament was hosted by Mark Eaton at the Red Ledges Golf Course in Heber, Utah. The event was a fundraiser for the Diabetes Center and raised $35,893 for our Treasure Chest Fund. The Treasure Chest is a fund that helps our diabetes patients receive the much needed medical care and education they need if they do not have medical insurance and no other means to pay for their care. Since January 1, 2009 we have been able to give assistance to 600 patients from the Treasure Chest.
The high point of the golf tournament would have to be the young man from Springville, Utah winning the hole in one contest with a prize of one million dollars! Click on the following link to see this exciting event:
