Lynn Birrell, PA-C
Professional Interests: Dermatology, skin disease, skin cancer and its prevention, and Mohs surgery.
Personal Interests: In his spare time he enjoys fishing, hiking and backpacking, travel with family and his 11 grandchildren. Has served on several health missions for the US Army Medical Corps, and recently retired from the military after 39 years of service.
Education: Lynn began his medical education as a medic in Vietnam; attended nursing school at BYU, graduating in 1975. He attended the Physician Assistant program at the University of Utah, graduating in 1986, and again with a Masters in 2004. He joined the practice of Dermatology with Dr’s Mark Taylor and C David Hansen in 1985. Lynn is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants; the Utah and Army Academy of Physician Assistants, and was a founding member of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
