Stroke Camp

July 27-August 7, 2009

The University Rehabilitation and Wellness Clinic is hosting an intensive twelve-day specialized rehabilitation program for stroke survivors.  The purpose of the program is to assist in providing a framework which will essentially guide in the stroke recovery process.  What is not widely known about the effects of a stroke is the extended duration of the recovery process, which can continue for years following the initial episode.  Recent research has shown however, that intensity of practice can facilitate recovery, and that is precisely the basis around which this program has been designed.  Space is limited so immediate registration is encouraged.
