Amputee Program

Amputee ProgramThe University of Utah Amputee Program provides the most comprehensive, coordinated approach to amputee care in the Intermountain Region.

Co-directed by the Foot and Ankle Service of the University of Utah Orthopaedic Center and Rehabilitative Medicine and Vascular Surgery, the Amputee Program is a comprehensive approach to the care and rehabilitation of individuals with amputations. This care includes assessing and treating the patient as well as teaching the patient what to expect postoperatively. The goal of the treatment is to return patients with amputations to their highest level of physical capability.
