I am an Assistant Professor, (clinical) and board certified Sports Medicine physician serving as a team physician for the University of Utah Utes. I specialize in the care of athletes and active people of all ages, focusing on attaining and maintaining a patient’s physical performance goals. I  received my medical degree from the University of Washington, followed by residency training in internal medicine at the Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Washington. I pursued subspecialty training in sports medicine at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, where I worked with athletes of all levels. My clinical interests include non-surgical management of musculoskeletal problems afflicting active people across the lifespan. I have specific clinical interests in prevention and management of injuries in the female athlete, metabolic bone disease, and non-surgical management of osteoarthritis in active patients.
