Dr. Douglas T. Hutchinson
I am an Associate Professor specializing in hand and microvascular surgery. I currently serve as the hand fellowship director at the University of Utah and chief of Hand Surgery at Primary Children’s Medical Center, the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Shriners Intermountain Hospital. I also hold an adjunct appointment in the Departments of Bioengineering and Physical Therapy. My research interests include improved plastics for use in finger and wrist implants, randomized, prospective clinical studies, and congenital deformities. I trained at Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia, completed residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia and fellowship at the Raymond M. Curtis Hand Center in Baltimore.
