Horwitz

I am an Associate Professor (clincial) who specializes in orthopaedic trauma, including complex pelvic and acetabular fractures, intra-articular fractures and nonunions. My clinical expertise also includes treatment of multi-trauma patients, open long-bone fractures, and the late treatment of sterile and infected nonunions. My research interests include analysis of internal fixation for tibial plateau fractures, the development of bio-incorporated implants, and the role of bio-accelerants in open tibial fractures. I completed my medical education at Washington University in St. Louis and my residency in orthopaedics at Columbia University in New York, followed by a fellowship in trauma at the University of Utah Department of Orthopaedics.
