Dr. Michael Daubs
I am an Associate Professor specializing in orthopaedic spine surgery. I practice at the University of Utah Orthopaedic Center and operate at the The University of Utah Hospital, Primary Children’s Medical Center, Shriners Children’s Hospital –Salt Lake City and the Veterans Administration Hospital. I received my undergraduate degree from the University of Nevada, and MD from the University of Nevada, School of Medicine. I completed an internship and orthopaedic surgical residency at the University of Arizona Health Sciences Center. My fellowship in spinal reconstructive surgery was completed at the University of Missouri-Columbia as well as additional training in adult and pediatric spinal deformity at Washington University in St. Louis. I have thirteen years of clinical practice experience devoted to the treatment of spinal disorders. My clinical and research interests include adult and pediatric spinal disorders, scoliosis, trauma and spinal tumors.
