Dr. Jacques L. D'Astous
I am a pediatric orthopaedic surgeon who joined the University of Utah Department of Orthopaedics in 1995 and practice at Shriners Hospitals for Children - Salt Lake City and serve as a consulting staff at Primary Children’s Medical Center. I completed my orthopaedic training at the University of Ottawa and received a McLaughlin, Traveling Fellowship which allowed me to complete my pediatric orthopaedic training in London, Paris, Boston Massachusetts, and Wilmington Delaware. I also practiced at the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario, Ottawa, Canada, serving as Chief of Pediatric Orthopaedics from 1993 - 1995. My particular interests include neuromuscular disorders, spinal deformities, as well as general pediatric orthopaedics. I am the Medical Director of the Movement Analysis Laboratory at Shriners Hospital.
