I spent several months working as an ICCN nurse in most of the hospitals in the Salt Lake area, and I finally chose to stay at University Health Care because I felt so welcomed and accepted. My mother called from Ghana and asked if I was fitting in. I said, are you kidding? They treat me like a queen!

This is a unique place to be. I really enjoy the diversity of patient population - from HIV patients to transplant patients. My co-workers are excellent. I feel like I belong.

I enjoy working on a unit that promotes a positive environment with great team work. This is promoted by the exceptional leadership of the nurse manager.

My wife is also an RN; we relocated from Connecticut and love Utah, the people and University Health Care and the great benefits it offers.
