Oncology Internship
Huntsman Cancer Hospitals Oncology Internship is a 16-week internship program. You will rotate through the Medical Oncology Inpatient Department, Surgical Oncology Inpatient Department, Blood and Marrow Transplant Department, and will rotate through some of the Ambulatory Oncology Clinics.
Huntsman Cancer Hospital is expecting at least a two year commitment with one - two years working in an inpatient department or one year working in inpatient and one year working in an outpatient clinic.
Nurse interns are paid full salaries and receive all full-time University Hospital benefits. Additionally after two years experience Huntsman will financially support certification in Oncology.
Each department will feature hands on skill learning and a didactic portion. Some online learning and preparation will also be included.
