Emily Birdsall, M.D.
Emily Birdsall, M.D., was born and raised in southern Louisiana in a town called Cut Off, a small Cajun town along a bayou. From there, she attended LSU (Geaux Tigers!!) for undergrad where she studied Biological Engineering. She then moved to New Orleans for medical school at Tulane, where her world was turned upside-down from Hurricane Katrina in her second year. She quickly found a great passion for family medicine in her third year. Her career interests include women's health, preventative medicine, and sports medicine, but her ultimate goal is to practice full-spectrum family medicine in an underserved area (likely rural). Her personal interests include enjoying the great outdoors, playing and listening to music, travel, her wonderful family (2 sisters and 2 brothers), and her pup Jacque-Imo (Jack). She is looking forward to the adventure of moving out west to enjoy everything Salt Lake City has to offer!
