Rixt Luikeaar, M.D.

Professional Interests: Dr. Luikenaar’s professional interests include obstetrics, menstrual disorders, contraception, sexual dysfunctions, and preventive care.  She delivers babies at the University Hospital and St. Mark’s Hospital

Personal Interests: She enjoys mountain biking, diving, skiing, playing the piano and collecting antiques.  She speaks English, Dutch, some German, some French and some Papiamentu. 

 Education: Dr. Luikenaar is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology.  She received her medical degree at the University of Groningen Netherlandsin 1997.  She completed her OB/GYN residency at the West Virginia University in 2003.  She is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the American Medical Association.
